Lisa has been creating art since she was a small child. Her teachers included her artistic mother, grandmother, an extraordinarily talented eighth grade teacher, and many other artists.  Much of her inspiration comes from nature and animals of the North East Kingdom Vermont. 

Brent has taken the lessons learned at the local furniture factory to create beautiful frames in lacquers and acrylic paints. 

By combining their talents, they are able to create unique and original Vermont Folk Art.  Lisa’s paintings are combined with Brent’s frames providing for ready to hang painting for your special spot. This combination of their talents creates a unique work of art and we know of no other artisans utilizing this technique. Only at the Vermont Art Store will you be able to purchase a piece signed by both artisans.

Working together, their other works include a large selection of hand painted ornaments and wooden products.  All their work is handcrafted in Vermont with supplies limited.  Enjoy!
